Psychologist Session

Experience skilled and supportive therapy with a psychologist who is known for her direct, down-to-earth approach.

Choosing your Psychologist

So your GP, NDIS provider, friends, family, or even you have decided it is time to find the right psychologist for support. Choosing can be difficult, there are so many psychologists to choose in the Townsville region. The most important thing is the relationship between you and the therapist. Most unsuccessful attempts at therapy are generally caused by a mis-match between the therapist and client.

Kirsten's therapy is provided in a warm and inviting space in a residential neighbourhood adjacent to Castletown in Hyde Park, Townsville. Clients are invited to let themselves into the waiting room at their appointed session time. There are no intimidating receptionists (this helps us maintain an affordable fee structure). Telephone consultations are also available.

Kirsten's Style

Kirsten has over two decades of experience as a therapist and during that time her clients say that they enjoy her no-nonsense, direct, and educational approach. Whilst they feel validated and reassured, they also feel that they better understand the origin and source of their issues, and therefore can make more meaningful changes to improve their lives.
